Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers appears to have decided that Nadir Ciftci has no future with the Glasgow club.

Pierre Van Hooijdonk has told the Herald Scotland that Nadir Ciftci has no qualms with Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.
Van Hooijdonk is Ciftci’s agent, and is likely to be kept busy this summer – as the forward is set to leave Celtic.
Rodgers has seemingly decided that Ciftci has no future at Celtic Park.

However, Van Hooijdonk, who had a spell at Celtic as a player, insists that his client has no issues with Rodgers.
“We will speak to Celtic but Nadir has no issue with Brendan at all. Nadir had a good pre-season with Celtic last year and I remember him phoning me after the first day last year,” he said.
“He said, ‘Pierre, you have no idea how different it is under the new manager’. Brendan impressed him so much and when I watched the Celtic games throughout the season l could understand why.”

Ciftci was loaned out by Celtic to Pogoń Szczecin last term, with his chances in Glasgow limited.
With Celtic preparing to upgrade their squad, there is surely no way back for Ciftci now.
In the Turkish forward’s absence, Celtic have gone from strength to strength under Rodgers’ leadership.
The Bhoys are still unbeaten in domestic action this season, and are on course to win the treble – providing they can beat Aberdeen at the weekend.
