Leeds United have brought the German to Elland Road and his shirt number has been confirmed.

Leeds United have confirmed that their new striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga will wear the number nine shirt after he completed his move to Elland Road from Hamburg earlier today.
The 25-year-old has agreed a season-long loan deal at Elland Road and following a successful medical he has been confirmed as the man expected to lead the line for Thomas Christiansen’s new-look side.

Leeds have been extremely busy this summer, bringing in 16 players to date, and it seems likely that Lasogga will be the last new face to arrive unless director of football Victor Orta has an ace up his sleeve with time running out.
You would be hard pressed to find a Leeds fans who does not think this summer has been anything other than outstanding, and on early evidence Christiansen has a side capable not just of finishing in the top six but of winning the title if they get a little luck along the way.

Lasogga did not enjoy the best season at Hamburg last time out. However his previous form suggests Leeds have signed an effective striker who just needs game time to bring out the best in him.
There is still time to get another deal over the line, with some Leeds fans craving an additional centre-back, yet at this late stage of the window it does seem Leeds have finished with the signings of two more exciting attackers.
