Striker played key role in Leeds victory

Leeds United striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga played a key role in the team beating Birmingham City.
The German’s parried shot put Samu Saiz in to score the opener before Lasogga played Stuart Dallas in to net a second.

The result makes it two wins on the bounce for Lasogga after his loan move from Bundesliga side Hamburg.
He has made a perfect early impression and appears full of confidence.
After the game Lasogga sent a message to supporters thanking them for their contribution.

Lasogga was deemed surplus to requirements at Hamburg after an unproductive couple of seasons.
The early signs at Leeds look great for him and he is an established first choice starter.
The Whites are at the top of the Championship after seven games, surpassing early expectations.
