Leeds United reveal that Pierre-Michel Lasogga is back in training.

Leeds United announced via their Twitter page on Wednesday that Pierre-Michel Lasogga had returned to training following a month-long absence.
The German hitman hasn’t kicked a ball for Leeds since the 3-1 defeat at Brentford on November 4 due to a niggling calf injury.
In that time, Caleb Ekuban – who is now injured – impressed in his number nine role, while Kemar Roofe enhanced his reputation as a striker by scoring three in the 3-1 win at QPR last weekend.

Lasogga is not the most mobile of centre-forwards, but he has netted five goals in 10 Championship games since joining on a season-long loan from Hamburg.
And fans of the Elland Road club offered a mix reaction to the news of his return to training.
Like him or not, Lasogga is clearly a talented goalscorer and he could be a big asset throughout the hectic festive period.
Roofe’s star has risen following his hat-trick, but there are still question marks over his long-term capacity to score goals for Leeds and Lasogga is a very good option to rotate with.
