The 25-year-old centre-forward has arrived at Elland Road with a strong reputation and will be expected to replace Chris Wood.
Wood was one of the best players for Leeds last season, as the New Zealand international striker scored as many as 27 goals in the Championship.
The 25-year-old left the Whites for Premier League club Burnley in the summer transfer window.
Lasogga is expected to replace Wood in the Leeds team and will be shouldered with the burden of scoring the bulk of the goals this season.
The German is ready for the challenge and is looking forward to giving his all for Leeds.
The former Hertha Berlin forward has also revealed what he has heard about the Leeds fans.
“I hear a lot about the fanbase, that they are very crazy for the club,” Lasogga told Sky Sports News on Thursday afternoon (3:43pm, August 31, 2017).
“I will give my best for this club, and we will fight every minute and then we will see what happens when the season ends,” added Lasogga when asked for his message for the Leeds fans.
