The Southampton winger has been in excellent form this season.

When speaking to reporters after yesterday’s win over Brighton and Hove Albion, Southampton ace Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg raved about the quality of his teammate Nathan Redmond, suggesting that he is one of the best players in his position in the Premier League, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Saints now sit in 16th spot in the Premier League table, and their top flight status is becoming more and more likely with every week that passes.
Redmond has been a standout performer for Southampton this season, chalking up six goals and five assists in 36 appearances in all competitions thus far, although those stats don’t really do him justice.
And Hojbjerg, who moved to St Mary’s at the same time as Redmond, offered high words of praise for the 25-year-old, highlighting just how much he has improved over the past few years, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“Me and Nathan came at the same time three years ago. To see how Nathan is not only growing as a player but as a person is remarkable and credit to him for working hard, staying calm, bringing joy, bringing happiness but also great quality to the team. Nathan has the quality to be one of the best in his position in the league. He’s in a good place at the moment.”
Next up for Southampton is a home game against Liverpool on Friday night, and Ralph Hasenhüttl will be hoping that Redmond can put in another match-winning display against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
