Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has told The Independent that he thinks the work rate of Son Heung-min and Harry Kane is ‘remarkable’.
Spurs drew 1-1 at Crystal Palace on Sunday, with Son and Kane again involved; Son passed to Kane for him to put Spurs ahead with a long-range strike.
The duo are closing in on the all-time Premier League record for most goal combinations, with the pair destroying Premier League defences this season.
Kane has been playing in a deeper role this season, with Son using his pace and movement to cause mayhem out wide and and in behind defences.
Teams just can’t handle the combination of Kane and Son, but they’re also putting in huge amounts of work for Mourinho’s side.
Teammate Hojbjerg has now hailed the duo, suggesting that it’s remarkable to see two of the best players on the planet working as hard as they are.

Hojbjerg feels that the duo are putting their egos aside for the benefit of the team, and the rest of the squad are loving playing with them as a result.
“I think if you see all the great teams that have done something big, in this country, in European competitions, they have always had players who have stood out, but what for me is remarkable is that two world-class players like they are, two of the best players on the planet, they are working so hard for the team, they are so committed to the group, they are doing everything to put their ego aside,” said Hojbjerg.
“We players are loving playing with them, we need to put them in good situations and they need to execute. They are two of the best players on the planet,” he added.
