Pierre-Emerick Aubemayang responds to Piers Morgan, told he is missed at Arsenal

Barcelona star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has responded to Piers Morgan on Twitter after the renowned Arsenal fan told the striker he is missed at The Emirates. His form has been superb, since joining Barcelona in January.

Aubameyang, 32, has hit the ground running at Barcelona despite it being his first-ever spell in Spanish football. Clocking up nine appearances in all competitions, Aubameyang has taken his tally for Xavi to six goals.

That includes a brilliant hat-trick against Valencia, while Aubameyang also netted on Sunday evening as Barcelona cruised past Osasuna to win 4-0. Aubameyang left Arsenal after being stripped of the Gunners captaincy.

Mikel Arteta had ostracised him after a number of issues where he flouted ruled put in place by the Spanish boss. Morgan sent Aubameyang a message on Twitter, telling the Barcelona attacker that he is missed at Arsenal.

Arsenal just recorded their fifth straight Premier League win. Alexandre Lacazette has been in stunning form up top, Gabriel Martinelli has stepped up and Bukayo Saka looks like he is getting better and better.

Arsenal do not miss Aubameyang. His form at Barcelona has been superb, but the Gunners man is happy at the Nou Camp. Towards the end of his Arsenal spell, he and Arteta did not get on and it affected his form.

Aubameyang suggests as much in his response to Morgan on Twitter – explaining that everyone is now happy.
