Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Spurs could be about to sign Pierluigi Gollini.
What’s the story?
Calcio Atalanta have reported today that Tottenham have agreed personal terms with Atalanta goalkeeper Gollini.
Spurs will now move ahead with agreeing a deal with Atalanta.
Tottenham could have to pay €15 million (£12.86m) as transfer fee for the former Aston Villa goalkeeper.
Atalanta have already signed a goalkeeper this summer, Juan Musso, meaning that they will sell the 26-year-old Italy international.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
What are Tottenham Hotspur fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Tottenham fans are not particularly impressed by the prospect of the club signing Gollini.
Well, some of them anyway.
What these Spurs fans are saying is that the North London club should not be prioritising signing a goalkeeper.

Tottenham should bring in a central defender first.
Now, that may be true, but you cannot ignore the fact that Spurs’ two main goalkeepers, Hugo Lloris and Joe Hart, are in their mid-30s.
Tottenham need to bring in a young(er) goalkeeper for the long term, and in potentially signing Gollini they are doing just that.
