Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane wins the 2015/16 Barclays Golden Boot Award, scoring 25 goals.
This Premier League season proved to be one of the most fascinating for a number of years as the regular big sides all failed to challenge.
Instead, it was Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur who took up the title challenge, with the Foxes eventually winning that battle.
It was those two sides who also battled it out for the Premier League Golden Boot too, as Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy led the goalscoring charts for much of the campaign.
It was the Spurs man who eventually won that battle, as he finished the campaign on 25 goals in the Premier League.
The victory was a narrow one though, as he finished just one goal ahead of the aforementioned Vardy and perennial Golden Boot challenger Sergio Aguero.
Another notable name on the list was Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, who managed a tally of 18 in the division, despite his side finishing 11th in the table.
