Arsenal stars mock stoke ahead of Premier League clash… or do they?
Arsenal face Stoke in the Premier League today, renewing a particular clash of styles between the two teams.
Photos have emerged this morning of three Arsenal stars dressed up in rugby gear ahead of the clash, with a big ‘ready for Stoke’ sign. Not the cleverest idea ahead of the big clash perhaps?
Except it’s a huge fake. The trio actually dressed in rugby gear back in December as part of a training tie-up with Munster rugby team.
The Mail explained last year: “Gary O’Driscoll, the current Arsenal doctor, worked with Ireland and also the Lions. Former Ireland hooker Jerry Flannery – who was forced to retire last year – and countryman Johnny O’Connor are in the Arsenal strength and conditioning team.”
