The two managers meet as Everton and Manchester City managers this weekend.
This weekend sees Everton travel to the Etihad stadium to take on Premier League leaders Manchester City.
Both clubs saw new managers takes charge at the club in the summer as Ronald Koeman arrived on Merseyside and Pep Guardiola in Manchester.
The pair are firm old friends, having played together for five years at Barcelona and playing key roles in the 1992 European Cup-winning side.
Indeed, it was the Dutchman who scored the winning goal in extra time in that final.
They have also worked together as coaches, with Koeman forming part of the backroom staff for a period when Guardiola was in charge at the Nou Camp.
During that time they enjoyed numerous successes, including the Champions League in 2009 in which they beat Manchester United in the final (below).
It now remains to be seen which former Barcelona man comes out on top when they meet this weekend.
Neither side enjoyed success before the international break as Manchester City were beaten by Tottenham Hotspur and Everton drew with Crystal Palace.
They will both be keen to bounce back in what is likely to be a fascinating game of football between these two former Barca stars.
