This took place in the form of Everton duo Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines, who were joined by former Everton clubmate Mikel Arteta.
England were training at Arsenal’s London Colney training ground, where the Arsenal man was also reporting for duty with his club.
In fact, come to think of it… Arteta has never been capped by Spain at senior level, and would qualify for the Three Lions under residency rule.
