Liverpool sensation Luis Suarez shows off some skills which may bring back bad memories for Ghanaians, ahead of the clash with Arsenal.

Let’s hope it does not come to this at the weekend, but Luis Suarez showed he is adept at the other end of the pitch too while joking around in training yesterday.

The Uruguayan striker became notorious at the 2010 World Cup when he blocked a goal bound effort on the line in a knock-out match with Ghana, with the Africans missing the resulting penalty, while he cheered on from the sideline after being dismissed.

He has even been involved in a ‘handful’ of handball incidents during his Liverpool days, but this season he has largely stayed out of trouble.

In fact there is an outfield player who is twice as ‘handy’ as he is, and that’s teammate Raheem Sterling.

While it’s all fun and games to let Suarez jape around in training, Liverpool may want to remember the cautionary tale of former Brazilian midfield captain Emerson, who broke his arm doing the same and missed the 2002 World Cup as a result.
