After weeks of rumour, Leeds United’s new co-owner Andrea Radrizzani’s investment into the club was confirmed yesterday.
Andrea Radrizzani’s long awaited investment into Leeds United was confirmed yesterday, with the club making an announcement on their official website.
Radrizzani said his first job would be to speak to head coach Garry Monk, but beyond that his activity on Twitter dropped a little hint about the top order of business.
Shortly after news of his 50 per cent stake was confirmed, Radrizzani begun following one Leeds United player on social media.
You guessed it, popular centre-back Pontus Jansson.

Radrizzani, who also added a picture of Elland Road as his Twitter background, will surely be plotting to ensure Jansson is signed on a permanent basis.
The Sweden international has had a major impact since signing on loan from Serie A side Torino, and the defender told BBC Radio Leeds last week he hopes to sign a permanent deal at the club.

The good news is Leeds have an option to sign Jansson permanently, but it was revealed this week it is after 22 games are played, not 20 as previously thought.
His agent, former Sweden striker Martin Dahlin, told Swedish outlet Fotball Skanalen that he expects a transfer to be completed once the final two games are played which will bring Jansson to the figure of 22.
Radrizzani appears focused on ensuring that it will go through without a hitch.
