When Mata met Moyes. Chelsea midfielder looks all set to become a United player in the next couple of hours.
Juan Mata has arrived at Manchester United for his medical with the club. The Spanish international has been linked with a move to the club for the past week – and late last night United confirmed that the club had been successful in their pursuit of the player.
Now he must undergo a medical at the club – which he will undergo today, as well as confirm his personal terms, before he is officially unveiled as a United player.
But he is definitely at the club right now – as Phil Neville’s Twitter account shows.
The United coach – who followed David Moyes to Old Trafford this summer gone – took a snap of the player arriving, of course via helicopter, for his medical and negotiations this afternoon.
His £37 million deal is now likely to be completed by the end of the day – although an official unveiling is perhaps more likely on Monday.
But with Mata now at the training ground – everyone at the club can really begin to believe that this is no dream, and the playmaker is to become a United player any moment now.
