12 months on and Arsenal sit pretty at the top of the Premier League table, returning after a 2-1 win over Aston Villa tonight.
After the game he was quizzed about Arsenal being top, and could not hide his pleasure at the club’s league position.
This is one of those moments where his words didn’t do his feelings justice. Wenger was beaming, and after the 12 month turnaround, you can’t blame him.
