Arsenal beat Tottenham in the FA Youth Cup.

After a closely fought game in 90 minutes, Arsenal beat Tottenham 5-2 in the FA Youth Cup on Thursday night.
The score was 2-2 after at full-time with Spurs twice taking the lead, before Arsenal ran away with it in extra time.
For Arsenal, the scoreline evoked memories of the club’s first team win over Tottenham in 2012.
Arsenal came from 2-0 down in that game at The Emirates to win 5-2.
Perhaps though, the Gunners got a bit over excited about an under-18s win.
This match was far closer than the 9-0 thrashing Tottenham’s under-18s handed out to Arsenal just last May.
The Gunners celebrated their 4-2 win over Spurs in the Premier League heavily, taunting their North London rivals on social media.
This would eventually backfire, with Arsenal struggling for form since, while Tottenham have kicked on.
Arsenal’s under-18s are into the FA Youth Cup fifth round, but a lot has changed since 2012 at first team level. There is now a seven point gap between the two teams.
