Liverpool were back in training this week ahead of their trip to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.
The Reds currently sit fourth in the Premier League having taken 13 points from their opening five games – and will head to South Wales in search of their fourth consecutive league win before the international break. A win could take them second, and they will be looking to take advantage of Tottenham and Manchester City playing each other – two sides who are above the Reds in the table right now.
Following on from a 5-1 win over Hull City, it may be hard for Jurgen Klopp to make any changes to his starting XI.
It has been confirmed that Loris Karius is set to retain his place in goal, while Dejan Lovren is available following illness, and might have to compete with Ragnar Klavan for a place in the side. One nice headache for Klopp to have could be over who to start up front this weekend with Daniel Sturridge photographed in training.
He came off the bench to win a second penalty for the Reds in their win over Hull City after shaking off a hip problem. If he is going to start against the Swans, it would mean that one of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane or Philippe Coutinho would likely drop out of the starting line-up.
Either way, the forward seems all smiles in training, along with his teammates:
