Everton’s Yerry Mina is still waiting for his debut.

Everton are in desperate need of a response this weekend as they travel to take on Arsenal, having been beaten 3-1 by West Ham United last week.

The Toffees had been unbeaten under Marco Silva, but were torn apart by a winless Hammers side in a torrid performance from start to finish.

One defeat has made many flip Silva’s record on its head; having been unbeaten in four, many are now framing it as one win in five to start his Everton reign, and he will be looking for a response this weekend.

Everton face a tricky trip to the Emirates Stadium to tackle Arsenal, and Silva needs a defensive boost after seeing Mason Holgate and Kurt Zouma struggle with Marko Arnautovic on Sunday.

Big-money signing Yerry Mina hasn’t been seen yet, over a month since his move from Barcelona, as the Colombian international arrived injured after sustaining a blow against England at the World Cup.

Last week, the giant central defender was seen in training for the first time, but wasn’t in the squad to face West Ham – and has now been seen training again, even posing for a photo with Bernard, Richarlison and Cenk Tosun.

Mina will be ramping up his return, and the new images of him in training this week will give Everton fans hope that he may just face Arsenal after all – even if he isn’t near full fitness just yet.
