Edimilson Fernandes and Alvaro Arbeloa will be hoping to make their debuts.
West Ham United’s new signing Edimilson Fernandes is introduced to the fans before the start of the match
West Ham United need a win. The Hammers are reeling after being knocked out of the Europa League by Romanian minnows Astra Giurgiu and losing their last two Premier League games.
The way they threw away a 2-0 lead against Watford last weekend was truly shocking, eventually going down 4-2 to the Hornets.
The Hammers have therefore been hard at training ahead of the fixture against West Brom this weekend – including a session at their new stadium today.
One player who will be hoping to get a chance with the first-team is Edimilson Fernandes.
So far the 20-year-old Swiss midfielder has played for the development team but is still waiting for his West Ham debut after joining from Sion.
He cost a fee in the region of £5.5 million, as reported by the Daily Mail, so is clearly an investment for the future.

Perhaps he could be thrown in for an appearance against Tony Pulis’ Baggies side.
Another who will be hoping to get a debut is Alvaro Arbeloa. He is looking in top shape once again as he looks to prove his fitness and the 33-year-old will want to get his first West Ham game under his belt.
