The West Ham United skipper has been out of sorts all season.

Ask many West Ham United fans what they think of Mark Noble’s performances this season and they will be quick to tell you the Hammers skipper has flattered to deceive.
Most clubs have a player their fans target when things are not going well, but in the case of Noble the criticism is justified, with the 29-year-old putting in below-par performances time and again.
Even with West Ham climbing up the table after their early season woes, Noble’s performances continue to suggest the player is coming to the end of his time as a regular starter.
After all, it is surely only a matter of time before Hammers manager Slaven Bilic realises his best option is to partner Cheikhou Kouyate with Pedro Obiang in the centre of the park and play an actual right-back in that position.
Noble has a contract at West Ham until the summer of 2020, however on this evidence it is hard to see him staying at the London Stadium that long unless he either turns his form around or gets used to a bit-part role.
The images of Noble’s frustration this season are clear; the problem is he should be frustrated at himself.
