This match could so easily have gone in the best moments, rather than the worst, but it is here for the simple fact that West Bromwich Albion lost a three-goal lead to drop two valuable points against Tottenham Hotspur.
Matej Vydra, Chris Brunt and Stephane Sessegnon scored before the interval to put the hosts in control, but a Jonas Olsson own-goal changed things slightly, and Harry Kane and Emmanuel Adebayor ultimately ensured Spurs took home a share of the spoils.
Aston Villa 4-3 West Brom
Another example of West Brom throwing away a lead, the Baggies lost 4-3 to fierce rivals Aston Villa after initially going 2-0 up in the first nine minutes.
By half-time it was 3-3 and Christian Benteke gave Villa the win in the second period, leaving West Brom to bemoan their failure to hold on to leads.
Bournemouth 2-1 West Brom
This season has not been one to write home about for the Baggies, but this was a particular low point with the Premier League side crashing out of the League Cup to Championship side Bournemouth.

The straw that broke the camel’s back was the 2-0 defeat to Stoke City, a match that proved to be Irvine’s final game in charge.
