Tottenham Hotspur are set to move into their new home for the start of the 2018/19 campaign.

Spurs have released photos to their official Twitter account, with the final remnants of White Hart Lane now completely gone, highlighting the progress of their new stadium build.

These are exciting times for Tottenham fans, with Champions League football safely secured, a Premier League title challenge on the cards, and a new 61,000 capacity arena to look forward to next season.

They must be tainted with sadness too, however, with White Hart Lane now completely banished from the north London landscape, after the famous old ground had played such an important part in so many Spurs fans’ lives.

The Lilywhites released photos to their official Twitter account, showcasing how the building of their new stadium is coming along, with the last visual part of White Hart Lane (the south stand) having been completely removed:

Spurs’ move to their new home next year is expected to coincide with a new era of success for them as a football club, what with the extra revenues that it will undoubtedly bring.

They will then be able to complete financially with Europe’s elite clubs, and in turn, bring in some truly world class players.

In the meantime, however, it will be vitally important for them to qualify for the Champions League again this season, and head into their new home next term with their participation in Europe’s Premier competition safely tucked away.
