Tottenham have released a series of pictures to their official Twitter account, providing Spurs fans with an update of the progress of their new 61,000 capacity stadium.

The North London outfit enjoyed a fabulous campaign last term, and ended up finishing third in the table, yet their fans were left frustrated as their fierce rivals Arsenal overtook them on the last day of the season.

Their third-place finish being met with disappointment was a sign of how far they have come as a football club, and it looks like things are only going to get better for Tottenham, with the added financial muscle they will possess once their stadium move is complete.

Here are some pictures uploaded to the club’s official Twitter account, showing how the building of the new stadium is coming along:

Spurs fans will be hoping that their transition to their new arena is a smoother one than London rivals West Ham United have had to endure.

Having a 61,000 seater stadium is by no means a guarantee of further success in the future, but one massive advantage Tottenham have is the new ground’s close proximity to White Hart Lane.

These are exciting times ahead for Tottenham.
