Tottenham Hotspur will move into their new home at the start of next season.
Spurs are expected to move into their new stadium at the start of the 2018/19 campaign, and they released new aerial shots highlighting the progress of the building work on their new home via their official Twitter account today.
Tottenham are playing all of their home games at Wembley Stadium this season, whilst they wait to move into their new 61,000 capacity home in August.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men have struggled at the England national team’s home, however, still having yet to record a Premier League victory at their temporary home.
This season will be vitally important for the Lilywhites, and finishing inside the Champions League spots will be crucial to their hopes of attracting top class talent in the summer, ahead of their move to their new arena.
The idea of moving to such a large and impressive new stadium was to enable Tottenham to compete financially with Europe’s powerhouses, but in order to do that, Pochettino must bring Champions League football to the club on a consistent basis.
And if he does just that, what player wouldn’t want to turn out for Spurs at their wonderful new home?
