Tottenham Hotspur are back in European action later this week.
Tottenham Hotspur’s players have been photographed being put through their paces ahead of their Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen this week.
Spurs are currently second in their group with four points from their first three matches, and while that is a disappointing return they are only a point behind current leaders AS Monaco so there is still all to play for.
Among those Tottenham players in training on Tuesday morning was England international Harry Kane, who is back following his recent injury problems.
Spurs have struggled for goals in Kane’s absence and they will be desperate for him to get back to his best when he is deemed fit enough to start.
It seems highly unlikely that will be against Leverkusen with a huge North London derby just around the corner, with Tottenham knowing victory against Arsenal will be another big step towards a potential title triumph come May.
Teenage centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers was also snapped in training while Erik Lamela has recovered from illness and should feature later this week.
