Tottenham Hotspur take on the the French club later this week.
Tottenham Hotspur’s players have been put through their paces ahead of the Champions League clash with AS Monaco later this week.
The match will be the first since Spurs returned to Europe’s elite competition and they will be hoping to get one over the side currently sitting at the top of Ligue 1 after a fine start to their own campaign.
In contrast Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League with eight points from their first four matches. However they head into this fixture on the back of a superb 4-0 victory against Stoke City last time out.
Goal-scorers Harry Kane and Deli Alli will certainly start while Heung-Min Son will be desperately unlucky if he is overlooked in favour of Erik Lamela after his brace on Saturday.
As well as the usual suspects Tottenham also had young midfielder Josh Onomah and Harry Winks in training on Tuesday morning and it will be interesting to see if one or both players make the bench for Wednesday’s match.
Recent signing Georges-Kevin N’Koudou was also on the training field and he could make his debut later this week against a side he will know well from his time in Ligue 1.
