Tottenham Hotspur have an exciting campaign ahead of them and the hard work starts now.
Some of Tottenham Hotspur’s players were put through their paces as they gear up for a new campaign, including Harry Winks, Michel Vorm and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.
The latter in particular will know that he has to hit the ground running this summer, after a disappointing debut campaign at White Hart Lane.
The French winger only showed flashes of his ability and looked out of place when given a run-out from the start in the EFL Cup clash with Liverpool back in October.
That match aside, the former Marseille man had to make do with substitute appearances and it was in those cameo outings that he sporadically showed what he is capable of.
Winks fared considerably better, with the young midfielder proving his doubters wrong in emphatic fashion and suggesting that Tottenham are sitting on another absolute gem of a footballer.
Also back in training was back-up goalkeeper Luke McGee, who spent last season on loan at Peterborough United and could return if recent comments from their manager Grant McCann are anything to go by.
He told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire that the 21-year-old stopper was desperate to return to the club but that Tottenham were not currently taking their calls.
Whatever happens later this summer, McGee is clearly keeping himself fit and ready for any eventuality.
