Tottenham Hotspur maintained their good run of form in the Premier League at the weekend with a 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the North London derby.

Spurs headed into the game at White Hart Lane as favourites and picked up all three points from the encounter to maintain pressure on league leaders Chelsea.

After a goalless first half, Dele Alli put the home team in the lead on 55 minutes, and Harry Kane doubled the advantage just three minutes later from the penalty spot.

The win means that Tottenham are four points behind Chelsea in second place and are set to finish above Arsenal in the Premier League table this season.

The Gunners are in danger of not even ending up in the top four, and the Emirates Stadium faithful are hugely frustrated.

For Spurs fans, watching Arsenal struggle must be a delight, and some of the Tottenham supporters want Wenger to remain at the Emirates.

During the North London derby on Sunday, some Spurs fans mockingly held up banners at White Hart Lane urging Wenger to stay at Arsenal.
