Can Tottenham star save his season?
Tottenham Hotspur flop George-Kevin N’Koudou was pictured in training at Hotspur Way yesterday, giving it his all as he bids to contribute over the final few weeks of the season.
N’Koudou has remained at Spurs over the international break, and should have been able to use the time to get his head down and try and impress.
Despite this a report emerged this week online with Foot Mercato claiming N’Koudou is likely to be sold this summer and will probably not feature again this season.
N’Koudou was though involved in the thick of the action in training, suggesting he is still being given a chance to show what he can do.
The 22-year-old has not been picked to start a single Premier League game this season since his belated summer move from Marseille, making just five starts.
Spurs certainly wouldn’t miss his non-contribution, but there is a run of games coming up where they should try and sprinkle him in and let him attempt to make an impact, before crunch fixtures against Chelsea and Arsenal at the end of April.
N’Koudou was a good player at Marseille last season, finding the scoresheet regularly, making his struggles at Spurs all the more frustrating.
