Tottenham Hotspur overcame the Russian club in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Tottenham Hotspur secured a vital three points in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, defeating CSKA Moscow 1-0 courtesy of another goal from the in-form Heung-min Son.
Spurs needed the win after losing to AS Monaco last time out and they got it, meaning the double-header against Bayer Leverkusen is now all important if they want to secure a relatively easy passage into the knockout stages.

Playing their home games at Wembley means Tottenham will not have a real home advantage for two more matches in the group stage – despite the superb turnout against the French club – so winning away from home this week could prove vital.
Son was the star of the show, scoring a massive goal, but he was far from the only shining light, with Tottenham’s back-line holding firm and second-half substitutes Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Harry Winks both influencing the game when they came on.
