Plenty of Tottenham’s brightest talents were in first-team training today.

Tottenham Hotspur were hard at work in training this afternoon at Hotspur Way as they begin preparing for the Premier League clash with Manchester City on Saturday.

But whilst they may have a massive game coming up, manager Mauricio Pochettino still decided to give plenty of the club’s younger talents a chance in the session – including three 16-year-olds.

Tashan Oakley-Boothe, Reo Griffiths and Timothy ‘TJ’ Eyoma were all present in first-team training today.

Eyoma is the oldest of the trio, the powerful defender turning 17 this month. Oakley-Boothe turns 17 on Valentine’s Day and is a talented central-midfielder from the local area. The youngest in the session was Griffiths. He doesn’t turn 17 until June and the talented forward has been banging in the goals for the Spurs youth teams since arriving from Leyton Orient.

Clearly he is a big talent that Tottenham will be keeping an eye on with the first-team in mind.

Other youngsters involved in the session included 17-year-olds Japhet Tanganga, Jon Dinyezi, Brandon Austin and Jamie Reynolds along with 19-year-old attacker Cy Goddard.

It is unlikely Spurs will see any of these players in action this weekend. But in the years to come some of these fresh faces might be in first-team contention.
