After a recent injury Marcus Edwards is back working with Tottenham Hotspur’s first team.
Tottenham Hotspur youngsters Marcus Edwards and Kyle Walker-Peters were involved in first team training on Thursday as the club prepared for this weekend’s home fixture against Middlesbrough.
Edwards is working his way back from a recent injury and is now at full fitness and hoping to earn a first team chance, having made his competitive debut for the club back in September in the EFL Cup win against Gillingham.
The 18-year-old was not involved in Tottenham’s FA Youth Cup game last night which he is eligible for, a clear sign he is being viewed as a legitimate first team option by Mauricio Pochettino.
Dimitri Payet signing is bad news for Tottenham winger
Walker-Peters, 19, is a promising option for Spurs at full-back, with the youngster able to play both on the right and left, and could become a back-up with Danny Rose out injured and Ben Davies set to assume a first team role.

Edwards made the trip to Middlesbrough back in the Autumn for Tottenham’s draw at the Riverside, although was not named on the bench.
An injury set his progress back a few months but he is seemingly back in Pochettino’s thoughts, and with Tottenham lacking a spark in the draw with Sunderland, the talented teenager could be just what the team need to put their opponents on the back foot.
