West Ham United lost 2-0 at home to Everton on Saturday evening.

West Ham United endured a miserable Saturday evening, losing 2-0 at home to Everton – and Marko Arnautovic will want to forget all about his night.
The Hammers produced a stunning recovery to come from 3-1 down to beat Huddersfield Town in their last home game, but there was no miracle this time.
First half goals from Kurt Zouma and Bernard put Everton 2-0 up, and that’s how it stayed as the Toffees ran out comfortable winners at the London Stadium.
West Ham fans were far from happy with such a torrid display, especially as a win would have put the Hammers right in contention for seventh place in the Premier League.

Whilst a host of players flopped against Everton, striker Arnautovic once again bore the brunt of fan frustrations, as they booed him off the pitch as he was substituted in the second half.
The Austrian was interested in a January move away from the Hammers, but West Ham stood firm to keep him at the club at least until the end of the season.

However, Arnautovic hasn’t scored a single goal for the club since the end of the January transfer window, with fans perceiving that he has essentially packed up and downed tools until he can move on.
Arnautovic cut a forlorn, dejected figure for much of Saturday’s game, as the photos here show, with the frustration clear on his face before a little tantrum after being benched (below), hurling a bottle into the ground as his time with the club appears to be reaching a sour end.
