Arsenal are back in action today as they host Burnley at the Emirates Stadium this evening – and Mikel Arteta needs a win.

The Gunners have won just one of their last seven Premier League games, scoring only twice in that run.

Arteta needs to find a solution, and there was an interesting addition to first-team training on Saturday as he looks for answers.

Photos captured 20-year-old George Lewis in first-team training ahead of today’s game as he looks to impress Arteta.

The Norwegian youngster arrived froM Fram Larvik over the summer after a successful trial, and has played four games in Premier League 2 this season, grabbing one assist.

Primarily a left-sided winger, the Rwandan-born talent has also scored in one EFL Trophy appearance, with Arteta now taking a look at him in first-team training.

It seems unlikely that Lewis will be involved in today’s game, as Arteta often includes youngsters in training before games, such as Charlie Patino and Marcelo Flores in recent weeks.

Still, Arsenal need a spark going forward, and with Folarin Balogun pushing himself into first-team reckoning of late, Lewis may now have dreams of doing the same.
