The future of Scott Brown is wrapped up in uncertainty. The Celtic midfielder has struggled to re-establish himself in the starting lineup since his recovery from injury, and the former Scotland international has also been linked with a move away.
According to The Daily Record, Australian club Western Melbourne are interested in Brown, whose absence has not been felt by Celtic in recent weeks.
Celtic have done well in the Europa League and the Scottish Premiership, and many will wonder if the importance of Brown to the Hoops is dwindling.
On Thursday, though, Brown underlined his leadership quality and showed just how much he cares for his team and his teammates.
When Ryan Christie suffered a leg injury in the opening minutes of the second half, Brown – who had come on a substitute at the break – rushed to help his teammate with a leg brace, as the following photos show.
It was yet another instance in which Brown, 33, showed just how devoted he is to his teammates and to his team, and perhaps Celtic should keep hold of him.
