Everton suffered a heavy defeat at the weekend, as they lost 5-1 to Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Saturday evening.
It was one of the Toffees’ worst defeats of the season so far and left the Merseyside club in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
The Toffees were never in the game, and the visiting team could have lost by a much bigger margin.

Everton have a good team, but they are still very much in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
The Toffees are 10th in the league table at the moment with 31 points from 26 matches, seven points above the relegation zone.
If Everton do not win their next two league games and results elsewhere go against them, then they could well end up having to fight for survival for the rest of the season.
