Leeds United have been linked with the young winger.
According to a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United are closing in on their third signing of the summer – a loan deal for Sporting Lisbon B player Hadi Sacko.
If he does put pen to paper at Elland Road, he will join fellow loanee Kyle Bartley and permanent signing Marcus Antonsson in joining Garry Monk’s new-look squad, and while not much is known about the player he has some experience of playing in both Ligue 1 and the Europa League.
Formerly on the books at Bordeaux, Le Havre and Sochaux-Montbeliard, Sacko is predominantly a right winger although he can also operate on the opposite flank, as a secondary striker or as a centre forward if required.
If the latest reports are true, Sacko will be hoping to use Leeds’ pre-season tour of Ireland to impress Monk and earn a contract in the process, and given the club’s need to strengthen out wide he will not want to let this opportunity pass him by.
