Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are reportedly interested in the 30-year-old.
According to the print edition of The Sun today [26/08, p61], Rangers are interested in signing Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer.
The Gers seem to be in the market for a wide player after Jamie Murphy was ruled out for the entire season earlier this week.
The 30-year-old would certainly add the speed and guile that would serve Rangers well – and manager Steven Gerrard might know how effective he can be.
Gerrard has played against the dimunitive attacker in the past during his playing days with Liverpool.
Below are some pictures of the duo competing against one another back in 2015.
In the above images, the now-Rangers boss clearly towers over Dyer – who is only 5’5 – and it looks like he might also have fouled him.
The Ibrox outfit visit Motherwell in the Premiership today as the 38-year-old’s side try and move second in the table, behind high-flying Hearts.
The Gers have picked up four points from a possible six in league action so far this season.
