West Ham United lost 1-0 at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

West Ham United’s dismal start to the season lurched to another low on Saturday afternoon with a 1-0 home defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Hammers opened up their campaign with defeats to Liverpool, Bournemouth and Arsenal, and were only just able to squeeze past League One side 10-man AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
Fans were desperate to see Manuel Pellegrini pick up a first league win as Hammers boss when Wolves came to town on Saturday, but he only tasted defeat again.
West Ham were again lacking intensity, as has often been the case for around two years now, and they were made to pay for it with Adama Traore pouncing for a last-gasp winner after Carlos Sanchez lost possession in his own half in added time.
The Hammers did have their own chances in the game, with Michail Antonio notably forcing Rui Patricio to pluck his header out of the air with a stunning save.
However, there simply wasn’t enough for West Ham fans to get excited about, and boos rang around the London Stadium at full time as it became four defeats in a row for the Hammers.

West Ham are the only Premier League team without a single point this season, and the anguish was clear at full time, with images showing the likes of Ryan Fredericks, Felipe Anderson, Fabian Balbuena and aforementioned Sanchez looking dejected at full time, summing up how West Ham fans feel right now, with Fredericks putting his hands on his head after such a devastating late loss.
