Nottingham Forest took on Birmingham City in the Championship last night – and put in a fantastic performance to get one over on Gary Rowett’s men.
Forest won 3-1 after an excellent performance at the City Ground – with midfielder Henri Lansbury in particular looking in fine form for the club.

Goals from Eric Lichaj and Apostolos Vellios gave Forest a 2-0 lead before Hildeberto Pereira ran the length of the pitch to score the third – after Lukasz Jutkiewicz had pulled one back for Birmingham.
It was a much needed win but one that seemingly came at a price.

Forest fans were left devastated when their recent new signing Nicklas Bendtner had to be stretchered off the pitch with a nasty looking injury.
He was spotted holding his lower leg after a collision with Michael Morrison. He ended up leaving the pitch on a stretcher and receiving gas and air for what looks like a very serious injury problem.

It marred a great performance for Forest and pressed the need for Britt Assombalonga to return from his latest injury problem as soon as possible.
