Newcastle United recorded a fine victory against Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday.

Newcastle United may have started their Championship campaign slowly but there is little doubt they are now back in business, with their 6-0 victory against Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday evening a potential sign of things to come.
The Magpies certainly have the squad to make light work of the English second tier. However it is a league that has been the downfall of plenty of big names before them and manager Rafa Benitez will be taking nothing for granted at this early stage.

Still, there are huge reasons to be positive, with goals from Ayoze Perez, Ciaran Clark, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Grant Hanley and a brace from Jonjo Shelvey sealing a famous win at Loftus Road.
It was an embarrassing evening for the hosts who had no answers to Newcastle’s dominant display, and with just one point now separating Benitez’s men in second and current leaders Huddersfield Town, the pressure is on the surprise early front-runners to maintain their grip.
