Diego Laxalt has been pictured in training for the first time following his season-long loan move from AC Milan.
Neil Lennon swooped to sign the Uruguay international on deadline day, strengthening his left side with an experienced player who has played for both Inter and AC Milan.
Italian news outlet Voce Giallorossa have reported that the Bhoys’ loan deal for Laxalt includes a £9 million option-to-buy.
That is a bargain if the former Genoa man does well.

His first game could well be in the Old Firm derby, with Celtic set to take on Rangers on October 17th.
Judging by the snaps of him in training, Laxalt looks determined to get himself up to speed in time for the typically-feisty affair.
Celtic’s official Twitter account shows the Montevideo-born player looking pretty focused in training under Lennon in three of the photos.
He definitely looks like he means business.

In the other picture of the four, Laxalt has afforded himself a small grin as he gets to grips with the Hoops’ training regime.
The Uruguayan only arrived a matter of days ago, so it is good to see him immediately get stuck into training and try and get himself integrated among the rest of the squad.
