The Merseyside outfit lost 2-1 to Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium in the league last weekend.
On Monday afternoon, the Toffees suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of United at Goodison Park.
The match saw Morgan Schneiderlin feature against his former club, as the France international midfielder lined up against the Red Devils.
The 28-year-old defensive midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes against Jose Mourinho’s side.
Schneiderlin joined United from Southampton in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £25 million.

The Frenchman struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford and moved to Everton in January 2017 for an initial transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £20m.
After the match on Monday evening, Schneiderlin was caught on camera having a friendly chat with United midfielder and former teammate Paul Pogba, who cost the Red Devils £89m in transfer fees when they signed him from Juventus in the summer of 2016, as reported by BBC Sport.
