Lucas Moura was Tottenham Hotspur’s one addition during the January transfer window.

Tottenham have today uploaded a number of images to their official Twitter account of January signing Lucas Moura training with his new team ahead of what he will be hoping will be his debut this weekend.
Spurs enjoyed a quiet transfer window and waited until the final hours of the month to complete their one signing, but it was arguably very much worth the wait, with Moura arriving from Paris Saint-Germain for £25 million, according to Sky Sports.

He is still awaiting the chance to make his debut however, having not been in the squad for the draw with Liverpool at the weekend. Unfortunately for the 25-year-old, his Spurs bow will not come in the FA Cup replay with Newport County due to the Brazilian not being registered for the initial game.
Therefore, all roads lead to the possibility that Moura will make his Tottenham debut in this weekend’s North London derby when Arsenal travel to Wembley looking to follow up their win in the previous meeting between the two teams.

So while Tottenham fans may have to wait a little longer before they get to see Moura make his debut, the club have whetted the appetite ever so slightly by posting a number of images of the winger in training, including a photo of the new signing alongside Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko.
With no competitive minutes since December, it seems highly unlikely that Moura will be in contention to start against the Gunners. But he would, no doubt, love to get out onto the pitch and try and make an impact at some stage that would make him an instant hero amongst the Spurs fans.
