Newcastle United will face Bristol City in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Newcastle United were training on Friday ahead of the Championship match against Bristol City on Saturday afternoon.
The Magpies will head into the game against City at the Ashton Gate Stadium on the back of a 4-1 victory over Reading at St. James’ Park.
It was Newcastle’s first competitive win of the season following defeats to Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage in London and to Huddersfield Town.
The Newcastle players were training on Friday, and among those who attended the session were linked-away duo Paul Dummett and Henri Saivet (see photos above and below).
Midfielder Saivet and defender Dummett have both been linked with moves away from Newcastle in the summer transfer window.
As reported by HITC Sport earlier this week, Premier League trio West Bromwich Albion, Burnley and Crystal Palace are interested in 24-year-old defender Dummett.
According to The Chronicle, French club Saint-Etienne are willing to sign 25-year-old midfielder Saivet on loan and pay a portion of his £35,000-per-week wage packet.
Although the futures of the Dummett and Saivet are uncertain, the players themselves appear to be unconcerned and were training as normal on Friday (see photos above and below).
