Celtic’s Leigh Griffiths was the picture of passion after his goal on Tuesday.
Leigh Griffiths bagged his first goal for over a month as Celtic beat Dundee 2-0 on Boxing Day.
Brendan Rodgers’s side moved 11 points clear at the top of the Premiership as first-half goals from James Forrest and a resurgent Griffiths did the damage.
The 27-year-old has, by his own admission, endured a frustrating time with Celtic lately, having started just one game in all competitions since November 29.
He told The Glasgow Evening Times after the win: “It’s been a frustrating time for me, not scoring and not playing as much as I would like,” he said.
“I got the nod today and I managed to contribute with a goal and help the team get three points.”
But the Scottish hitman – valued at £6 million, according to The Record – showed just how much he loves Celtic by patting the badge in an impassioned goal celebration.
