Even then they will be hoping for a slip-up elsewhere, but all Leeds can control is their own performances, hoping everything else falls into place at the death.
Among the Leeds players in training this week were top-scorer Chris Wood, defenders Kyle Bartley and Luke Ayling and attacker Kemar Roofe.
Young right-back Lewie Coyle was also pictured having only made three league appearances so far this season.
Monk has some big decisions to make in terms of team selection, with skipper Liam Bridcutt already ruled out and Pablo Hernandez disappointing for the last few weeks.
Whatever happens, expect the Elland Road to be at their vociferous best as they aim to keep their promotion hopes alive for another week.
