Tottenham Hotspur and Everton go head-to-head this weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur have been training ahead of their Premier League clash against Everton this weekend, with 18-year-old striker Kazaiah Sterling among those in action.
The teenager is the second-highest scorer in this season’s FA Youth Cup and he maintained his impressive run with a goal in the 5-3 quarter-final victory against Newcastle United at the end of last month.
Now it appears he has been rewarded for his fine form with another run-out with the first-team in training, and with the likes of Shayon Harrison and Ryan Loft currently out on loan, there is a chance he could force his way up the pecking order in what remains of this season.
Marcus Edwards was also involved after returning from a recent injury setback but only time will tell if he makes his first start between now and May.
Tottenham are currently second in the table and a victory against Everton will maintain their fine form and keep leaders Chelsea on their toes.
Sterling is one of a number of young Tottenham strikers who will know that a chance could come their way in due course, especially with the club currently over reliant on Harry Kane and Vincent Janssen’s future potentially elsewhere.
